Overview

Responsible for recruitment and admissions to all programs of TCLA, including advertisement, active recruiting, events and managing the admissions process through graduation. Liaison for Compliance on Accommodations and member of staff for committees and general functioning of the college.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Directs and coordinates the admissions program. Interpret the school and all of its programs to prospective candidates and their families.
  • Direct the admissions process from point of inquiry through enrollment. Serve as a member of the Admissions Committee.
  • Coordinate/administer all admissions testing.
  • Coordinate all re-enrollment activity.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruitment efforts: meetings, events, print advertising, direct mailings, web advertising, etc. Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned high schools and junior colleges.
  • Develop and maintain advertising calendar
  • Brainstorm ideas for advertising and conduct meetings with our advertising team
  • Coordinate and participate in special events involving prospective students and alumni.
  • Promote good relationships with alumni, outside institutions or groups, which can be helpful in attracting quality students.
  • Assist in the development of promotional materials that interpret the school to prospective students
  • Coordinate the application for reasonable accommodations process between students and compliance
  • Act as accommodations liaison for students having difficulty in their courses
  • Maintaining contact with enrolled students
  • Establishing and running programs to promote interactions among students and to increase connection with TCLA
  • Reporting progress and issues to dean
  • Serve as a member of the Academic Council Committee
  • Serve as a member of the Committee on Academic Standing
  • Serve as a member on the Admissions Committee

Education, Preparation, and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Skills

  • Knowledge of Hebrew a plus
  • Familiarity with feeder schools and Israel partner schools
  • Public speaking/Strong Interpersonal Communication both oral and written
  • Creative/Design/Publications

 

Physical Demands

  • Extensive Use of Computers
  • Extensive time sitting and standing
  • Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
  • Able to speak and present to prospective students and parents on campus and away

 

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Able to learn in-house CRM, Admissions, and other systems

  • As needed

Maximum Salary

USD $50,676.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $40,540.80/Yr.
