The Clinical Coordinator for the AAS in Radiologic Technology Program will play a vital role in the coordination, administration, and continuous improvement of clinical education experiences for students. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining clinical affiliations, overseeing student placements, and ensuring that clinical education aligns with the program’s curriculum, accreditation standards, and healthcare industry requirements. This position directly supports the Program Director and serves as a key liaison between the educational and clinical environments, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and education are met.

· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. · Current certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). · A minimum of two years of full-time professional experience as a radiologic technologist, including recent experience in clinical education. · At least one year of full-time experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited radiography program. · Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical affiliates, faculty, and students. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clinical sites and student placements effectively. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. · A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with radiologic technology practices and education trends. · Knowledge of JRCERT accreditation standards and the ability to ensure program compliance with clinical education requirements. · State certification as a Radiologic Technologist. |
