Overview

The Executive Director, Clinic Operations, is accountable for operational, financial, clinical, quality, and business development activities of Touro University Medical Group. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, leads clinical and administrative staff, and drives strategic initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Executive Director oversees the P&L for the Stockton clinics and supervises individuals responsible for revenue cycle management. The Executive Director will collaborate with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and processes that promote excellence in patient care and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Engages staff and cultivates a positive care center culture that prioritizes patient-centric care consistent with the Touro University California and Clinic missions.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and patient care.
  • Monitor clinic performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Manage clinic schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and resource allocation.

 

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, including medical, administrative, and support personnel.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

 

Patient Care:

  • Ensure a high standard of patient care and service.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Implement patient satisfaction initiatives and monitor patient feedback.

 

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the clinic budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Implement cost-effective measures without compromising patient care.
  • In collaboration with CMO, implement changes to front- and back-office policies and practices to optimize revenue cycle management.

 

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure clinic operations meet regulatory requirements.

 

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinic strategic plans.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of clinic services.
  • Collaborate with University senior management to align clinic operations with organizational goals.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinic or healthcare management.
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budget and revenue cycle management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Maximum Salary

USD $185,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $160,000.00/Yr.
